There is no doubt that as we get into the month of September there will be many positive changes on Lake Guntersville. The first change that starts the fall fishing bonanza is the water temperature; when you put in the lake the first thing you should look at is whether the water temperature is dropping and when you see that occur you can count on some big changes on Lake Guntersville as we move into the fall. When this occurs, the bass will leave their summer locations and start their fall feeding it will be time to check your history for past fall fishing times on the lake and approach the fall feeding patterns. The water temperature will cool down first in the shallow water pushing the bait to the areas where there is more oxygen, cooler water and following them will be the bass.
