Lake Guntersville is known for world-class largemouth bass fishing! We mainly target bass, but we do have guides available for crappie fishing 12 months a year. Crappie is a little more seasonal than bass, but we will guide you based on their feeding patterns.
You’ll want to bring:
-A valid Alabama fishing license (required for ages 16+)
-Appropriate clothing for the weather, which means rain gear for any trip and warm clothing for cold or windy days on the water
-Sunglasses (polarized if possible), sunscreen, and a hat
-Drinks, snacks, and anything else you’ll need for the day
-A camera or smartphone for photos
We provide all the rods, reels, tackle, and safety equipment you’ll need. However small frame children 8 years and under need a proper fitting life jacket as it must be worn at all times on the water at this age. So please bring a proper fitting life jacket for small children.
No experience needed! We welcome all skill levels — from complete beginners to seasoned pros. Your guide will work with you at your pace to make sure you have an awesome day on the water.
We offer several trip options:
–Half-Day Trips (4 hours)
–Full-Day Trips (6–8 hours)
You’ll get professional guidance, top-quality gear, and a personalized fishing experience.
